FAQ
For commissioned pieces I offer to organise framing on my end – you tell me about your style and I arrange framing with my network of trusted framers. Framing is also available for prints on request.
Framing an artwork before shipping is a more costly option, however receiving a completely finished piece in a stunning handcrafted frame will yield the most beautiful results.
For paper I use Arches. It’s the most luxe paper, which allows me to blend my pencils beautifully. I usually opt for a cold pressed medium texture with a deckled edge in a very thick 640gsm. The weight of the paper depends on the size of your artwork. Some sizes do not come with a deckled edge, so make sure you let me know if this is a ‘must’ for your piece.
For prints I only use premium cotton papers such as Hahnemühle, Ilford Galerie or Canson in a smooth 100% cotton rag or similar. My limited edition Giclée prints are made to last forever. They are printed with archival inks and handled with the greatest of care.
For pencils I use a combination of Prismacolor Premier and Caran d’Ache Luminance.
My commissioned pieces are completely unique, one-of-a-kind originals. I work with you to create something personal that suits you and your home. Each piece is thoughtfully created, with hours and hours spent sitting with it. Unless otherwise agreed, no prints or reproductions will be made of your commissioned piece.
